The entry of citizens of the Russian Federation between the ages of 16 to 60 is restricted to Ukraine for the time of martial law. This became known during a meeting with the participation of the President and the Head of the State Border Service. At the meeting, Petro Tsygykal, the head of the department, informed the President about the measures taken in connection with the introduction of martial law.

“Strong control measures are being taken at checkpoints. Today, the entry of foreigners, primarily citizens of the Russian Federation, is restricted. Citizens of the Russian Federation between the ages of 16 and 60, males, are not allowed in,” said Petro Tsygykal.

According to the President Petro Poroshenko, these measures are aimed at preventing the Russian Federation from forming troops of private armies on the territory of Ukraine.

This restriction may affect large business conferences, where speakers from the Russian Federation are invited, as well as concerts of Russian performers in Ukraine.
