Espoo-based Fixably, a fast-growing SaaS provider, has raised $1.9 million in a seed round. The round was led by Icebreaker.vc – a venture capital firm and community for pre-founders and founders. They invest in Nordic and Baltic companies only.
Founded in 2015 by CEO Joel Mansnerus and Sami Starast, Fixably created a complete service management system specifically designed and developed for Apple Authorised Service Providers. Also, the company integrates all the tools needed to perform and further repairs, handle internal resources and workflows, cash transactions, logistics, customer communications, Apple requirements, and more. The software is easy to set up and scalable for any type and size of business.
The company wants to use the raised funds on further expansion to the USA, as they want to do more business there. Having received more than 1 million repairs so far by 2020, the company expects to increase this amount to 3 million repairs by the end of 2021. In addition, their goal is to extend the lifetime of one billion devices.
Joel Mansnerus, CEO and co-founder of Fixably, stated:
“After twenty years of working with Apple repairs, ten of which were spent building my own repair service company, it became obvious that the best way to secure high growth is a purpose-built software supporting my employees and customers from all ends to any end.”
