Berlin-based AUCTA, a provider of digital industrial solutions in the field of 3D visualisation, has secured a €510,000 pre-seed financing from APX, IBB Ventures, and two unnamed business angels, the company says in a press release.

AUCTA-1

AUCTA company was founded in 2019 by Elías Alonso, Daniel Seiler and Henri Huselstein. It develops a platform to create and deploy 3D-VR instructions on any device for industrial training, operations, service and customer UX. AUCTA software provides full-service content creation enabling industrial companies to get one ready-to-use instruction within 2-4 weeks, then use existing 3D content in flexible production and work environments.

Currently, AUCTA is already operating in the DACH region and in the US. Its immersive technology helps customers to reduce both time and financial costs during training processes. According to the company, using 3D-VR, Munich Airport reduced training time in ground handling procedures by a factor of 5, and Wallmart shortened employees’ onboarding training from 8 hours to 15 minutes.

AUCTA will use the raised capital to continue developing the company,  to strengthen the team and to intensify into product development, Seiler said.
