Helsinki-based AI startup Stealth Black has received $1.3 million from Finnish VC Inventure and Denmark’s byFounders, as well as from angel investors Mikko Hyppönen and Ali Omar, Tech.EU reports.
Founded this year by CEO Tuomas Rasila and CTO Antti Lehtimäki, Stealth Black builds products that assist humans (especially in a business-to-business context) to have higher-quality conversations and to find solutions and proposals with the greatest benefits. The company has trained its AI technology to see routine negotiations, such as getting a tenant to an empty office.
Stealth Black will use the fresh funds to continue developing its technology. Also, they are preparing to expand first in the Nordics and then elsewhere in Europe.
“We are now a group of ten, but with funding, we will increase the size and know-how of our team,” says CTO and co-founder Antti Lehtimäki. “In the short term, we are looking for approximately ten more coders to join our team, while keeping our team small enough for everyone to play a significant role.”
