The Polish customer service startup Rating Captain has secured funds from Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder. The deal will be closed at a total of $240,000, MamStartup informs.
- Founded in 2020 in Wroclaw by Mateusz Piwnicki and Karol Bocheński, Rating Captain develops a platform with AI-driven technology to better understand customers and automate customer service. The tool allows managing opinions issued on dozens of popular platforms, including Airbnb, Booking.com, Facebook, Google, etc.

Investment Director in Tar Heel Capital Kamil Moczulski comments on the deal.
- The Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder is a Warsaw-based venture builder and a venture capital fund operating since 2017. Earlier, it invested $240,000 in Polish e-commerce startup Selmo.
- According to Crunchbase, Rating Captain secured $240,000 seed funding from the former investor Czysta3.vc, bringing a total of almost $500,000 in funding.
- The fresh funding will help the company expand in the UK market, as well as further grow the team. The funds will also allow to add new features to the platform.
