The Helsinki-based growth engineering startup reconfigured has raised a €1 million investment round. Icebreaker VC led the pre-seed funding to help SaaS companies to deal with data, ArcticStartup writes.

  • Founded in May 2022 by Niko Korvenlaita and Richard Makara, reconfigured is building a no-code data transformation platform. The solution helps B2B companies deal with data engineering without using internal resources or spending months on implementation.

“With each customer conversation we have the same themes keep popping up: issues with reporting, issues with outfitting sales, and marketing with the right data. The root cause seems to always be the same: shaky or non-existent data foundations. And that’s what we are here to solve,”

Richard Makara explains the startup.
  • Icebreaker VC is the leading investor in this round. It is a Finnish early-stage venture capital backing idea-stage teams with deep domain expertise. The firm has had three funds investing in over 80 startups.
  • Earlier, AIN.Capital wrote about Icebreaker VC investing in Hoxhunt during its $40M Series B round, backing eBrands in a $30M round, and supporting Helppy in a €3M seed round.
  • Using the funds, reconfigured plans to hire its initial team and work with a select number of B2B SaaS businesses to pilot its product. The startup is also building out its YouTube channel with free educational content to improve communications with companies.
