The Wroclaw-based startup Labplus, which develops AI technology to automatize the lab test results analysis, has raised $1.5 million (7 million zł) in a pre-seed round. The investment came from Polish fund LT Capital, as well as from the National Centre for Research and Development in the form of a grant, MamStartup reports

  • Founded in 2017 by Dr. Siddarth Agrawal, Labplus develops products and solutions for medical diagnosis. The startup uses AI algorithms to automatically analyze lab test results. According to Labplus, the conclusions provided by its diagnostic engine match physicians’ diagnoses in over 90% of the cases.
  • Among the startup’s products are Labplus API and LabTest Checker, an online tool that helps patients assess their blood test results without engaging physicians.
  • The pre-seed round was led by the Krakow-based early-stage fund LT Capital, which mainly focuses on breakthrough Industry 4.0 companies. Its portfolio includes Polish startups, such as the developer of a proposal automation tool Apropo and the healthtech company Good Sleeper.
  • Labplus wants to invest the fresh funds in the further development of AI technology for analyzing lab results. It also plans to raise a seed investment this year. It will help to acquire B2B customers and support its international expansion.
