Patronite, the largest patron platform is Poland, has secured €2.7 million (over PLN 12.6 million) in new investment from Wirtualna Polska. As part of the deal, the investor has also acquired a 40 percent stake in Patronite, MamStartup reports.

  • Founded in 2015 by Tadeusz Chełkowski and Michał Krawczyk, Partonite is a website connecting creators with people who want to regularly support them. The platform claims to build communities around passionate people who want to reach their recipients with valuable messages and high-quality content.
  • Over 7,000 independent creators already use the platform. The creators list includes publicists, podcasters, athletes, youtubers, and bloggers, as well as several associations and foundations.

“Today, many well-known publishers and TV stations are moving to the Internet. Independent creators who build daily relationships with users through their hard work are also of great importance. By investing in Patronite, on the one hand, we want to support them, and on the other, we also want to learn from them,”

Jacek Świderski, CEO of Wirtualna Polska, comments on the investment.
  • Wirtualna Polska is a group of companies in Poland operating in the media and e-commerce sectors. In April 2022, the company invested $4.7 million in a Polish restaurant management startup Restaumatic.
  • Using the fresh funds, Patronite plans to scale the customers and content creators base, by ensuring rewarding experience, such as monthly salary.
