The Barcelona-based event management software Xceed has raised €2 million of investment to accelerate expansion across the EU. The round was led by Trind Ventures, joined by Best Nights VC, and Superhero Capital.
- Founded in 2014 by Mattia Franco and Luca Papaleo, Xceed provides state-of-the-art software that allows customers to track upcoming events, to access guest lists, purchase tickets or reserve bottle services. Software also enables to digitize online presence and sales, manage the staff, marketing, and operations for clubs, bars, and festivals.
- The platform has transacted over 30 million bookings and currently reaches over 10 million event-goers per year. It is available in over 15 countries and 125 cities. Xceed works with Ibiza’s powerhouse Pacha, Portugal’s Brunch in the Park and Neopop, and Italian Just Cavalli, Phi Beach.
- The fresh round was led by Talinn-based seed-stage venture fund Trind Ventures that focuses on startups with a consumer or community component. Best Nights VC, the innovation and investment unit of Mast-Jägermeister SE, Helsinki-based SuperHero Capital, and a number of angel investors also joined the investment.
