London-based and Polish-founded Redigo, a startup that helps companies manage their carbon footprint, has secured more than $270,000 (1.2 million PLN) from Invento VC fund under the BRIdge Alfa program, MamStartup writes.

  • Founded in 2021 by Magdalena Stelmach and Tangi Coatanea, Redigo is a cloud-based sustainability platform that provides businesses with tools needed for meaningful carbon assessment and future planning. With use of machine learning technology, its platform analyses past and current emissions data and visualizes the path to carbon neutrality.
  • The BRIdge Alfa program, from National Centre for Research and Development, also co-financed by the European Union, helps entrepreneurs during seed stages. Through this program, the NCBR has provided investors with non-returnable support, helping other funds invest up to €200,000 at 20%.
  • The funding was provided by Invento VC. It is a Polish fund that is looking for impact projects and startups in the IT, deeptech, health, food, and cleantech industries. In September 2022, it received €1.5 million capital from BRIdge Alfa. At the time, it was managing a total of €9 million, allowing for further investments in 7 startups.
