The Helsinki-based startup Epicbrief that develops an AI-based solution for automation of administrative tasks in sales has secured €1 million to optimize its platform and expand the user base. Dutch VC firm Curiosity led the round.
- Launched in 2022 by Miro Putkonen, Pyry Takala, and Anton Dobrzhanskiy, Epicbrief’s AI-based solution automates various administrative tasks, such as summarizing sales conversations, and updating CRM fields. The platform can be integrated into various video conferencing tools and CRM systems.
- Epicbrief claims, by using its platform sales teams can increase efficiency, improve collaboration, and concentrate on high-impact tasks, ultimately leading to better decision-making and higher close rates.
“By automating administrative tasks, we’re enabling to focus on what really matters: building relationships, closing deals, and achieving their quotas. As a start, we focus on automating sales call summaries and action plans and provide easy-to-use tools for collaboration and communication to make sales organizations more productive and make better-informed decisions. In the long term, we’re looking to expand towards automation across the whole sales workflow,”
Miro Putkonen, the CEO of Epicbrief, commented.
- Amsterdam-based venture capital firm Curiosity led the funding round. In 2022 Curiosity led €1.7 million seed investment round for indoor climate software Freesi. Finnish investor Superhero Capital also participated. Among its investments is €2.5 million round for Finnish startup Cactos.
- The fresh capital will be used to grow its user base in the next months, and to improve the platform based on user input.
