Grupa Wirtualna Polska has acquired SAMITO, which provides e-commerce shops with marketing automation solutions. The deal’s amount is not disclosed. It will help strengthen the holding’s adtech platform — WP Ads.
- Founded in 2014 by Piotr Płocharski and Rafał Gawłowski, SAMITO is a Warsaw-based marketing automation platform powered by big data. The platform allows users to get better insights, create personalized marketing campaigns, as well as provide unique customer experience. According to the company, it can increase the conversion rate by up to 20%.
- The company was acquired by Wirtualna Polska. It is Warsaw-based technological holding company. The group operates in the areas of e-commerce, advertising, media, and entertainment, coherently combining technologies.
- According to Wirtualna Polska, over 23 million users visit its websites every month, earning €200 million of revenue reported in June 2022.
- Following last year’s acquisitions, primarily in the travel and media sectors, the deal will allow the holding to strengthen its position in the advertising market. Its adtech platform WP Ads will be joined by SAMITO’s experts in optimizing e-commerce conversions.
