Global proptech company, Equiem, has announced the acquisition of the Warsaw-based spaceOS, which offers a complete workplace experience platform. The terms of the deal were not announced. It will provide capital for further acquisitions and the integration of spaceOS to Equiem’s tenant experience-focused platform.

  • spaceOS was founded by Marley Fabisiewicz and Maciej Markowski in 2017 and provides a holistic management system, which covers both the management and user side. Because of a modular structure, spaceOS is ready to integrate with a variety of platforms to meet the specific requirements of any workspace infrastructure.
  • Founded in 2011, Equiem offers tenant services for office buildings. Equiem has offices in Australia, the USA, the UK, and The Philippines. Its clients include Dexus, Lendlease, Knight Frank, Nuveen, and Brookfield. Equiem is used by 170,000 people across 5.5 million square meters of commercial real estate worldwide. 
  • The acquisition will help to expand Equiem’s footprint to over 25 countries and grow the suite of features available on its Equiem One platform, increasing revenues by 20%. The merger includes investment from Hitachi Ventures, BeyondBuild, German developer MOMENI, Caleus, and others.

  • spaceOS founders will join Equiem’s executive leadership, as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Growth Officer, respectively. The combined company will continue to operate under the Equiem brand.
