Swedish ClimateView, a climate action technology company, has secured a €14 million funding round led by 2050, with participation from 115K, Sandwater, Polar Structure, CommerzVentures, NordicNinja, and others. It will help to develop the climate finance platform and to support cities in their climate investment planning needs.
- Established by Tomer Shalit, ClimateView provides a SaaS-based impact intelligence platform, called ClimateOS, which helps cities finance their climate action. It combines data and systemic analysis to enable cities to plan, manage and fund the transition to net-zero. Currently, the platform is used by over 30 cities including Madrid, Dortmund, Cincinnati and Nottingham.
- This round was led by Paris-based VC fund 2050, with participation by the exciting investors Japanese-Nordic fund NordicNinja and the German fund CommerzVentures. In December 2022, NordicNinja joined a €19 million round for Estonian-founded negotiation startup Pactum.
- The Oslo-based Sandwater, Swedish companies Polar Structure AB and SEB also joined the investment.
- ClimateView intends to use the funds to develop its climate finance platform and to support cities in their climate investment planning needs as part of the EU’s innovative program “100 Climate-neutral and Smart Cities”.
