Espoo-based provider of indoor climate software Freesi has received an undisclosed amount of investment from Swedish Hydda. The fresh round will help strengthen its position in the Nordics.

  • Launched in 2017, Freesi is a SaaS company offering indoor climate management services for the real estate industry. The company has 180 customers in the Nordic region, UK, DACH, and Benelux.
  • Freesi combines indoor climate data and tenant feedback to create valuable insights for commercial real estate owners and managers. The service can be deployed at any stage of a building’s life cycle, regardless of the age of the building or the building technology.
  • Hydda is a Stockholm-based software company that focuses on innovative SaaS solutions for the real estate industry. Since its launching in 2021, Hydda has acquired five proptech companies and invested in two others: Envise, Parkando, Elbilio, Spaceflow, Estate Logs, and Freesi.

“The investment in Freesi enables us to offer customers the best and most effective energy efficiency and indoor climate solutions. The deal also broadens and strengthens our proptech service offering for real estate – and helps these businesses achieve their sustainability goals,”

Martina Skande, CEO of Hydda commented.
  • Freesi will use the fresh investment to strengthen its position in the Nordic region and brings the company one step closer to its goal of becoming a global leader.
