Creatopy, an AI-driven creative automation platform founded by Gabriel Ciordas, has raised $10 million in a Series A investment aimed at empowering businesses to achieve their creative potential. Top investors 3VC and Point Nine led the round.
About Creatopy
- Founded in 2021 by Romanian entrepreneur Gabriel Ciordas, Creatopy helps brands and agencies to easily create, personalize, scale, and serve effective ads. It does this by offering an end-to-end creative workflow experience, tailored to the needs of businesses through collaboration and brand control.
- The core features include the ability to design high-quality ads, personalize and customize for effectiveness, as well as serve and optimize them on digital channels. Furthermore, the solution is further enhanced by the power of AI, which makes the whole process faster and automated.
- According to Creatopy’s LinkedIn, the company employs nearly 100 people and is managed by CEO Dan Oros. So far, more than 5,000 global brands and agencies already use the platform regularly.
Who invested
- 3VC is one of the lead investors in the company. It is a Vienna-based venture capital group that invests in a carefully handpicked group of Series A-stage tech startups in Europe. 3VC backs category-defining companies like Shop Circle, Lokalise, DGG, Picsart, Storyblok, Assaia, Kaia Health, and Tatum.
“Designers and marketers often spend too many hours on rather frustrating work, preparing visuals to be used at scale. Creatopy’s customer love was very convincing – hours saved every week, better work-life balance, and ability to meet the needs of the organization or a client with given resources. We are very excited to partner up with Dan and his team on their journey!”
Eva Arh, Managing Partner 3VC, comments.
- Point Nine is also one of the investors. It is a Berlin-based Seed to Series A-stage venture capital firm focused on B2B SaaS and B2B marketplaces, investing from $500,000 to $5 million. Since 2008, the firm invested in companies like Juro, Preply, Algolia, Chainalysis, Contentful, Delivery Hero, Docplanner, Loom, and Zendesk.
What’s next
Creatopy will use the fresh capital investment to reach more customers and bring new AI capabilities to the product, in areas like copywriting, image editing, and workflows.
