Innova Capital, a leading private equity firm in Central Europe, has informed AIN about the closure of its latest fund, Innova/7, raising a total of €407 million from invetsors.
- Innova Capital is an independent private equity adviser operating from Poland, Warsaw, and investing in buyouts in mid-sized enterprises doing business in Central Europe. Since its inception in 1994, Innova Capital has invested close to €1.4 billion in almost 70 companies across 10 countries in the region.
About Innova/7 Fund
- Innova/7 Fund’s first investment was completed in May 2023, as a part of which Innova acquired NETOPIA Group, a Romanian payment services provider. In June 2023, Innova Capital announced a €324 million interim closing of Innova/7 fund.
- Innova/7 focuses on three key sectors – business and financial services, industrials, consumer and lifestyle (including healthcare). It also claims it prioritizes digitization and modern technology integration in each sector.
The finalisation of Innova/7 coincides with our thirtieth anniversary. Therefore, we are embarking 4th decade of our operations with the most substantial capital ever amassed by us in a single fund, a new ESG strategy through which we will build the value of our portfolio companies even more effectively and new ideas on how to grow our business. The fresh fund has attracted the interest of foreign institutional and commercial players from Europe and North America, as well as Polish investors, whose total share in now over 25%.
