Mantis Analytics, an AI platform for real-time situational awareness and risk management, has raised $240,000 investment from Nezlamni Fund. The Ukrainian startup told the details to AIN.
- Mantis Analytics is said to increase the effectiveness of security operations by providing real-time situational awareness to detect and respond to threats.
- The platform was founded in 2022 during a full-scale invasion by Maksym Tereshchenko, Ostap Vykhopen, and Anton Tarasyuk. The company has evolved from a volunteer initiative to a dual-purpose startup, according to Mantis Analytics.
- The investment is also reported to be part of SAFE's pre-seed round. It is expected to accelerate the development and launch of the Mantis platform in the US market, which is a key strategic priority for the startup.
"We plan to scale the experience we have gained in Ukraine to a global level," Maksym Tereshchenko, CEO of Mantis Analytics, said.
- Nezlamni was established by the co-founders of Uklon, Ukrainian entrepreneurs Dmytro Dubrovskyi, Viktoriya Dubrovska, Serhiy Smus, and Vitaliy Dyatlenko.
- The fund focuses on innovation in defence technology and security. The portfolio includes investments such as Ailand Systems (a drone demining company) and Buntar Aerospace (developing a reconnaissance drone).
AIN reminds you that in December 2023, the venture capital firm ZAS Ventures invested in the Ukrainian AI platform Mantis Analytics. The investment was publicly announced on 26 March 2024 stating the amount of the investment to be $50,000.
And lated in April, Mantis Analytics announced that it had joined the Alchemist Accelerator, one of the largest accelerators for early-stage B2B companies. The startup informed AIN that it also received an investment of $30,000 from the accelerator.
