Ukrainian Roosh invests $250,000 in US EdTech startup Highfive, an American EdTech startup that helps reduce conflict in schools. The investment group informed AIN.UA about the deal.
- The companies will work in partnership to develop a new version of the product based on artificial intelligence, which will automate some of the manual work and reporting processes and expand the application's functionality.
‘Roosh X's investment and technical expertise will allow Highfive to focus on scaling in the US and working with K-12 schools - schools with low academic performance and discipline issues,’ the release said.
- Highfive reportedly operates in 36 states and has 30,000 monthly active users. Since its inception, the company has saved 850,000 hours of school administrative time through its empathy and acceptance learning approach. The next goal is to reach 100 new schools and attract 15,000 new users by the end of the year.
‘Teachers who are not sure how to deal with problematic student behaviour receive exercises based on scientific research. This helps them feel more confident in making decisions about how to support students in difficult situations,’ the release explains.
- Highfive uses AI to track student behaviour. The app not only captures behavioural patterns, but also offers specific solutions and tracks progress.
