Romanian edtech startup Youni has raised a €900,000 seed investment round led by Soulmates Ventures, alongside Early Game Ventures. The funding will allow the company to boost its AI ecosystem that connects universities with students worldwide helping them achieve their dream education paths, the company announced to AIN.

The seed round of investments was led by Czech Accelerator and VC Company Soulmates Ventures, supporting the startup with €600,000, alongside Romanian Fund Early Game Ventures, which invested €300,000.

Youni has so far received investments from venture capital companies such as Early Game Ventures, Simple Capital and angel investors such as Matt Symonds or key employees of UiPath.
The Romanian startup plans to use the new investment to scale and improve the AI platform used by universities in the admissions process, and to strengthen its position in the markets of America, Great Britain and Australia. Over the next year, the Youni team aims to help one million students get into their ideal university.
