Lithuanian software development company Deverium, in collaboration with partners Corner Case Technologies, have raised €2 million in EU funding. The capital will help the companies to develop a new product, which is a reusable digital identity platform developed to fix on the international identity verification puzzle.
- Deverium claims to not be an average mobile software development company. Founded in 2019 by Edvardas Maslauskas and Erika Maslauskaite, the company focuses on developing enduring software partnerships for a better user experience. Deverium has offices in Lithuania, the UK, and Sweden.
- Deverium and Corner Case Technologies' new joint product targets the absence of a globally accepted ID solution for e-commerce. The problem costs European financial departments over €5.7 billion annually. The other challenge is data privacy, which most consumers worry about. Both may be solved with electronic identification services.
- Deverium aims to improve the global market processes and build a platform which would make identity verification faster.
“Leveraging our expertise in digital identity, gained through previous collaborations with leading IDV companies, we are committed to creating a comprehensive solution for cross-border IDV challenges. This EU funding provides us with the opportunity to develop a minimum viable product and then scale it globally,” Erika Maslauskaite, CEO of Deverium, commented.
With the funding raised, deverium is poised to boost the development of a new digital identity platform. The company hope to revolutionize the way people and businesses interact online.
