Estonian AI powered platform Sera has raised a pre-seed investment round led by Specialist VC, with vital support from its angel investors, including Markus Villig and Kaspar Tiri. Sergio Rannula, Co-Founder & CEO of Sera, has shared the news on his LinkedIn.

About Sera

  • Sera is a Tallinn-based startup founded by Karl Maaroos and Sergio Rannula. It develops an AI-powered platform that automates prospecting and lead qualification. Sera AI can be used to enrich company profiles effortlessly and enhance data with accurate emails, business metrics, and more. 

  • A user can tell Sera AI agent what companies they are trying to find and get a handpicked list of top-quality prospects. According to the startup, its platform has a database of over 150 million verified companies.

  • The company states its mission is to remove the greatest blocker for fast-expanding companies: finding the right customers.

The round was backed by Specialist VC, with vital support from Sera's angel investors, including Markus Villig and Kaspar Tiri. 

  • Specialist VC is a venture capital fund supporting forward-thinking founders from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, and Ukraine. Specialist mainly invest in sectors such as B2B, SaaS, fintech, platforms, software enabled hardware, and deep tech.

  • Unfortunately, the company did not disclose the exact amount of the deal.  However, Specialist VC's regular ticket size ranges from €250,000 and up to €3 million, so the deal should be in these brackets.

Sera will use the fresh funding to continue optimise its product and  deliver lead lists with even higher accuracy. Also, the startup is open to demo calls to generate its first users.
