Polish startup Wycieczkomat secured funding from WP2 Investments to transform school trip organization

WP2 Investments has announced its investment in Polish startup Wycieczkomat. The company combines a social mission with innovative technology and offers a modern tool to help organize school trips.

  • Founded in 2022 by Krzysztof Januszewski, Michał Kalinowski and Marcin Owczarczyk, Wycieczkomat is an online platform designed to simplify the process of organizing group trips. It offers a secure and convenient system for booking and paying for tours, with features tailored for both teachers and parents. 

  • The platform allows teachers to manage all trip details in one place, tracking enrollments and payments in real time. Wycieczkomat handles the booking and billing for all aspects of the trip, including transportation, attractions, guides, accommodation, and insurance. 

  • Teachers simply select the destination, group size, and trip duration, and the platform assists in bringing their plans to life.

  • WP2 Investments added the startup to its portfolio. The firm is a Poland-based early-stage investor with a focus on fintech, biotechnology, green energy, E-commerce and digitalization/automation. The amount of the deal was left undisclosed.
