Seeds of Bravery to invest around €2.2M in a few dozen Ukrainian startups

Seeds of Bravery has announced another batch of a few dozen Ukrainian startups to receive €2,224,531.25 in financial support through 4 key programs: Innovative Entrepreneurship, Deep Tech Incubators, Rebuild Ukraine, and Deep Tech Scale-up and Acceleration.

The funds will aid the startup in boosting their growth and help young entrepreneurs to launch and support their businesses. AIN shares key details about this year’s participants below. 

Innovative Entrepreneurship

Over 20 companies received up to €25,000 each to support business continuity and promote female-founded initiatives:

1. Lucid –  an AI solution empowering financial institutions to enhance security by detecting hidden connections in data and predicting fraud.

2. Cabina.AI – a single space for chatting with AI assistants

3. Mark – an AI-powered healthcare solution that revolutionizes preventive care, minimizes misdiagnoses, and improves long term health outcomes.

4. Neomi – personalised grocery shopping assistant.

5. Recast Plastic – a company developing furniture made from recycled plastic. 

6. Wonderby –  a service for digital appointments and client onboarding. 

7. UGLA ERP – an all in one ERP solution for all business processes.

8. XR Soft Skills training platform – Sensorama Lab provides digital transformation solutions using AR/VR technologies.

9. Uspacy – an online service that helps SMBs arrange communication, collaboration, and client interaction in a single digital workspace.

10. Happy Monday (“Talents database” project) – an AI-powered job platform that matches Ukrainian professionals with purpose driven jobs.

11. Sort Oracle – an AI SaaS platform to optimise product discovery and sorting for eCommerce.

12. Almexoft – a no-code workflow automation platform for business process management and electronic document management.

13. Noty.ai – an AI agent that manages a to-do list of knowledge workers. 

14. Oh My Perfect Form – an AI-powered mobile fitness app that analyzes exercise technique in real time.

15. SolarInt – a project to collect solar energy in the summer for long term storage and provide houses with heat and electricity all year round.

16. Metatable.ai – an AI-powered development platform that streamlines the software development process from ideation to deployment.

17. Pocket IP – a global trademark portfolio management service.

18. GetMyLook – an AI-driven stylist app for fashion retailers on digital signage.

19. Solar Optic – a patented system for guiding sunlight inside industrial buildings, saving up to 80% of electricity consumed for lighting.

20. SynCom – an application designed to transform collaboration in complex communities through digital innovations.

21. CheckEye – an AI-driven platform for mass screening of chronic diseases to enable preventive healthcare for everyone around the world.

22. FE Fortuna Agro V – optimizes production processes by pelletizing feed in a 3-tonne-per-hour feed production facility.

Deep Tech Incubators

14 early-stage startups secured up to €25,000 each for pre-MVP activities:

1. Pagebuilder (PGBLDR.COM) – an AI online business builder with personalized design websites and customer acquisition system.

2. SKYDOCK – a universal automatic drone charging station for 24/7 autonomous operations.

3. Open Health – development and technical support of the hospital information system.

4. CheckEye – an AI-driven platform for mass screening of chronic diseases.

5. LLc Lviv Hydrogen – metal-hydride systems as potential hydrogen storage devices.

6. ADAM – an AI-driven, transport-based air quality monitoring solution.

7. Solar Optic – a patented system for guiding sunlight inside industrial buildings.

8. Geodesic.Life – a developer of sustainable prefabricated dome houses.

9. Trace Crystal – a platform that gives valuable physical items integrated, unique, and unclonable trackers.

10. JobAtlas – a data-driven career guidance platform, which helps people find their perfect occupation based on their skills and job market insights.

11. PivotHawk – a platform to monitor irrigation pivots and alert ahead of unexpected shutdowns.

12. VITA325 – transforms prosthesis monitoring and rehab with mobile sensors and ML

13. VitalisLacto – a startup specializing in the production of probiotic dairy starters.

14. Procheck.me – a medical startup based on evidence medicine.

Rebuild Ukraine

8 companies received up to €25,000 each to help rebuild post-war Ukraine: 

1. Allpass.ai – a fully automated KYC & AML tool for fintech SME’s.

2. Happy Monday (“Talents database” project) – an AI-powered job platform that matches Ukrainian professionals with purpose-driven jobs.

3. Ukryttia Verify – a mobile app for collecting detailed and up-to-date information on bomb shelters in Ukraine.

4. TROYAN. SYSTEMS – IoT solutions for pest control reducing time & labor costs.

5. Wonderby – an online booking and automation platform with AI features.

6. Klen – a mobile app solution to help remote workers solve a problem of physical pain using exercises and self-massage techniques.

7. Progalit – an AI-driven platform for outpatient treatment and prevention of kidney stones disease.

8. Softway – a B2B travel management tool.

DeepTech Scale-Up 

25 startups awarded up to €50,000 each to scale prototypes and expand market reach: 

1. CASES – a mobile super-app to empower creative professionals, drive innovation, and foster international collaboration.

2. Bank of Memories – a SaaS platform for important memories and documents of nations working on blockchain.

3. INPUT SOFT – a platform helping aviation companies optimize resources, reduce costs, collect, and analyze data from all processes at airports.

4. Recycle – a service that solves the problem of collecting sorted waste from the population for subsequent recycling.

5. ECOFACTOR – a leading provider of customized EV charging solutions.

6. KitSoft’s SOC Implementation – builds a scalable, automated Security Operations Center for government and enterprise clients in Ukraine and Europe.

7. Medvoice – a comprehensive online education platform that empowers healthcare professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.

8. Oboard.io – an OKR platform with built-in AI Coach to fast-track your strategy execution.

9. XR Soft Skills training platform – an XR training platform for soft skills improvement.

10. Cabina.AI – an All-in-One AI workspace.

11. Deep tech scale-up and acceleration of polymer packing products manufacturing 

12. Versi Bionics – a robotic bionic prosthesis.

13. ColMatEk – innovative hemostatic agents that stop bleeding in 10 seconds and enhance wound healing.

14. Sofia (by VeraNet) – a BI platform that helps businesses make decisions faster by using groups of AI agents to analyze data and suggest solutions.

15. Knopka – a software solution for public hospitals with emergency departments that controls timely medical care assistance.

16. Hearify – an AI-powered platform that boosts learning with tools like quizzes, flashcards, and study guides.

17. ComeBack Mobility – provides real-time biofeedback to ensure precise weight-bearing for patients recovering from lower limb injuries.

18. VRNET.IO – an automated solution that transforms 2D plans into 3D tours of a new generation (digital twins) that work on web, mobile, and VR/AR.

19. Passenger.care – an AI-driven solution efficiently automating 80% of claims, reducing costs, and boosting passenger satisfaction.

20. Stackoon – provides employee access and license management across 300,000 tools.

21. Telediagnostic Oranta-AO – an information system with AI for personalized healthcare.

22. IPTel – a cloud contact center and CRM software featuring AI for automatic calling, detecting voice fakes, and offering a quality control system for calls.

23. NeuCurrent – an AI and data-driven customer retention platform for retailers.

24. SoftTrainer – an application that uses AI simulations to develop and assess soft skills.

25. SolarGaps – a developer of photovoltaic smart window blinds.

AIN reminds that Seeds of Bravery is funded by the European Union, under the European Innovation Council (EIC). In October 2024, the project granted €1.25 million for 38 Ukrainian startups.
