The final selection of startups which will represent Ukraine at CES 2019 took place on 11th of October. The organizers of the event – Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), Concepter, and UVCA selected six companies which will go to Las Vegas, as Concepter has informed AIN.UA.
The organizers will cover the renting costs of a stand in the pavilion, which costs about $3.000, and will also provide mentoring support for project execution, including production, logistics, marketing, PR, and help in networking with customers, manufacturers and distributors at the exhibition.
This year CES 2019 will be represented by the following Ukrainian companies:
- FunLight – a roller-coaster of interactive projections for shopping centers and themed parks.
- Flasty – a food 3D printer.
- Jollylook – analog vintage photo camera.
- Nuka – everlasting office (a notebook and a pencil).
- RAWR – IoT technologies for pets.
- Photon_LMS – portable modular photo studio for Still-Life photography.
“There are a lot of conversations about how difficult it is to create hardware-startups. We prove the opposite. Thanks to the experience of Concepter, the support of WNISEF and the proximity to UVCA investors, the Ukrainian pavilion at CES-2019 should be unusually powerful,” – says Vlad Tislenko, CEO of Concepter.
“We continue to invest in startups and we are confident that participation in such exhibitions is a significant plus for the development of both individual companies and the IT ecosystem as a whole,” – comments Jaroslaw Johnson, President and CEO of the Western NIS Enterprise Fund.
