Fast delivery service Glovo launched its operations in Lviv on April 22, as informed by “Ekonomicheskaya Pravda” citing Dmitri Rasnovskiy, Glovo’s general manager in Ukraine. He also added that the service might start soon in Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv. But the final decision is yet to be made:
We are considering cities with populations over 200,000. These can be Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv. We need to go there and evaluate their potential in terms of a number of eateries.
Rasnovskiy also said that the service can be deployed in a city in about one month, and the so-called “long list” contains 15 other potential locations. Currently, Ukrainian Glovo has over 5k couriers with at least one order completed.
Lviv is the fifth Ukrainian city to welcome Glovo. The service also operates in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Odesa.
