Bas Godska, Dutch business angel, who already invested in well-known Ukrainian projects – Ecois.me, Zakaz.ua, and Newzmate – launched a venture fund Acrobator Ventures. The partner of the fund was the Dutchman Joachim Laqueur with experience in the field of venture investments. Company offices are located in Amsterdam and Kyiv.
How much are willing to invest?
The fund is going to invest in startups at the pre-seed, seed, and higher levels from $25,000 to $500,000. First of all, it is going to work with companies from Eastern Europe. And the total amount of investments, according to data provided by the fund itself, will be up to 20 million euros over three years.
“We are looking through countries, concentrating not only on companies, but mostly on their founders… We analyzed the success factors of forty companies in which we invested money and/or time. We also know that it worked well in more than 100 companies that I consulted personally or with the Acrobator Consultancy team,” notes the founder of the fund.
Before the launch of Acrobator Ventures, Godska invested a total in 13 companies with 4 partial exits.

The fund will consider primarily projects from the areas of SaaS, Big Data/ML/AI, EdTech, MarTech, HR tech, and others. In addition to investments, the founder of Acrobator Ventures offers access to a network of co-investors, as well as global funds, such as ACCEL, Insight, MCI, EBRD.
