Vivo is preparing to enter the Ukrainian market. It is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer with around 7% of the global smartphone market. The company is part of the BBK group that also handles OPPO and OnePlus brands. The activity of Vivo in Ukraine was noted by Technot.

Ukrainian version of Vivo’s global website is now available at this direct link. It also indicates the presence of a service center in Kyiv’s Podil district. In addition, the company is on the lookout for employees.

Job search site Work.ua has 11 vacancies published by Vivo, which range from a PR manager to a designer. In addition, VivoUkraine pages are now available on Facebook and Instagram.

Ukrainian version of Vivo’s website features 5 available models, which probably constitute the company’s assortment for this market.

The flagship model is V15Pro with 6.39-inch AMOLED display, pop-up selfie camera, and main triple camera. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 675 and costs around $390 outside of China. Ukrainian website does not show the prices yet.

The first rumors about the arrival of the brand in Ukraine appeared at the end of 2018: back then Vivo allegedly led negotiations with retailers. Then it became known that Vivo’s reps visited the Ukrainian State Center of Radio Frequencies.

AIN.UA has reached out to Vivo for comments but has received no reply so far.
