Ukrainian IT company Astound Commerce, which develops e-commerce solutions for foreign customers, has attracted investments from Salesforce Ventures. This is reported in the press release of the company.

Salesforce Ventures (SV) is the investment division of Salesforce, which develops a CRM system and related products for business. SV has already invested in Docker, Evernote, IFTTT, Stripe, Quip, SurveyMonkey, Twilio, Box.com, Dropbox, DocuSign, MongoDB, and others.

Approximately 70% of Astound orders from overseas customers are Salesforce products and services. Together, the companies intend to increase their presence in existing markets and increase the share of Astound projects in the common ecosystem of Salesforce. Astound previously worked with L’Oreal, Under Armor, Mothercare, Adidas.

The amount of the transaction between Astound Commerce and Salesforce is unknown.

In Ukraine, Astound Commerce works as Estaund Commerce LLC. 100% of this company is owned by American Astound Commerce Corporation. The final beneficiaries are the co-founders Ihor Gorin (also holds the position of CEO), Ihor Martynenko, and Illya Vinogradskyi.

The company was founded in 1999. Headquartered in San Francisco, there are branches in London and Munich. In Ukraine, Astound Commerce has development centers in Kyiv, Chernihiv, Uzhgorod, Vinnytsya, and Lutsk.
