Propertymate startup, founded in 2018 by Ukrainians Bohdan Hnatkovskyi and Sofia Vyshnevska, has entered the Techstars Austin accelerator. As part of the program, the project will receive $120,000 in investment and 3 months of mentoring. In exchange, the accelerator received a 6% stake, company representatives told AIN.UA. Acceleration will be the first investment raising round for Propertymate.

Part of the team, which currently comprises 10 people and is distributed between offices in New York and Lviv, will move to Austin, Texas for the duration of the program.

Propertymate develops a platform for real estate agents that allows its users to match data about buyers and real estate on the market. The product selects real estate units in which customers might be most interested in. Propertymate also integrates with popular services (from Gmail to StreetEasy) that allows to conveniently group data and set up work.

On average, in the U.S., it takes more than 4 months to acquire real estate and about 3 months to sell it. We have created a platform that helps agents do this in a matter of days.

So far, New York is the main location for the project, the headquarters is also located there. Propertymate plans to use acceleration to expand to Texas, the second largest real estate market in the U.S. There are more than 100,000 agents in the state who make over 500,000 transactions annually. Agents have already executed more than 2,000 transactions through Propertymate up to date.

Earlier, Propertymate founder Bohdan Hnatkovskyi launched Brainify – a platform for automating sales of new real estate, focused on developers, with a focus on the European market. In total, Hnatkovskyi has 4 years of experience in Real Estate Tech. The operational director of Brainify was Sofia Vyshnevska, who previously worked at Softserve.
