As reported by money.pl, DigitalMedical, previously called Addictions.ai, has raised over $500,000 from private investors Adam and Valdemar Wałach, Mariusz Kozłowskia and Dariusz Mioduski among others for developing the service Helping Hand.
Helping Hand is an online alcoholism therapy platform with an AI module. The tool provides digital support to people struggling with addictions and also predicts addiction relapse. Users have access to the sessions with therapists in the form of chat, audio and video conversation.
Helping Hand has already been downloaded 25,000 times and has nearly 10,000 active users and 150 therapists.
The obtained fundings will help the company to develop Digital Therapeutics Hub solutions for other areas of mental health. The users will be able to contact to specialists that are dealing with depression, occupational burnout, anxiety/neurosis, drug addiction, trauma related to the coronavirus pandemic, eating disorders, as well as with spiritual development and sports psychology.
