Cartloop, an eCommerce startup, has raised a total of $350K in funding over 1 round, Crunchbase reports. It was a pre-Seed round led by GapMinder – a Venture Capital Fund, targeting IT Software and Services startups in Romania and CEE. Also, the round was backed by Tamas Cristian, the co-Founder of TypingDNA.
Launched in April of this year by Andrei Negrău and Lisa Popovici, Cartloop is the human-engagement platform designed to delight and convert customers through 1:1 conversations. The platform is aimed to help e-commerce brands build customer relationships and increase sales by sending real-time messages. The platform uses proprietary technology to automate and personalize the process of answering customers` questions.
The raised funds will be used for updating solutions as founders want to increase customer base and expand their operations around the world, the first target countries are Spain, France, and Germany. Also, the startup wants to expand its team in the next few months in areas like development, product design, and marketing.
Lisa Popovici, co-founder and COO of Cartloop, said:
“For 2021 we are looking to reach over 2,000 brands from all over the world. We also have a new round of financing in mind for the upcoming period, but until then, our focus is on building the platform.”
