Finland-based startup Flowrite, which is building an AI-powered writing tool, has announced a pre-seed funding round of €550K. The round was led by some of Europe’s top early-stage investors, such as Lifeline Ventures – an iconic early-stage venture fund and Seedcamp – a leading pan-European early-stage fund. The round was joined by several angel investors including David Helgason (Founder of Unity), Moaffak Ahmed (Founder at Cooler Future & Partner at Nordic Makers), and Ville Vesterinen (Founder of Slush & Chairman at Swappie).

Founded in 2020 by CEO Aaro Isosaari and CTO Karolus Sariola, Flowrite is an AI-driven writing productivity tool that allows converting thoughts into full-length emails, messages, posts, and other written content on the web. Designed for those whose work depends on communicating effectively. Flowrite plugs into the browser recognizes the context based on the website and is able to turn sequences of words, short sentences, and bullet points into any desired short-form text. 

The funding round enables the company to move more effectively in all of the areas that are key to its success. The startup will continue the development of browser extension.
