Tallinn-based Salv, the anti-money laundering (AML) startup, has raised $1.8 million. The money was raised from investors led by Superangel, Nordic9 reports.
Founded in 2019 by CEO Taavi Tamkivi, COO Jeff McClelland, and CTO Sergei Rumjantsev, Salv is an anti-money laundering, a crime-fighting platform built by the creators of TransferWise and Skype’s compliance. Salv gives companies the flexibility and speed they need to get ahead of today’s financial criminals.
The startup recently introduced its pilot program titled AML Bridge in Estonia, in cooperation with four of Estonia’s largest banks: LHV, Luminor, SEB Estonia, and Swedbank Estonia. The raised money will help the company expand its anti-money laundering pilot to several European countries.
