Lublin-based Microamp Solutions has received more than $2 million in R&D funding from the National Centre for Research and Development within the Fast Track program, MamStartup writes.

Founded in 2019, Microamp Solutions is deeptech which evolves 5G concept to help companies in multiple sectors start rolling out 5G coverage. It is currently working on RF infrastructure for modern 5G networks and wireless communication systems that operate in mmWave band. This solution enables the use of higher frequencies and wider bandwidth providing stable data transmission parameters, which are highly required in VR technologies, for example.

The fresh funding will be used to the project of 5G infrastructure development, which realization is scheduled for March 2021. More specifically, the project concerns mmWave Transceivers for 5G network systems, and its total value amounted to nearly $3 million.
