Grid Dynamics (its shares are listed on NASDAQ) acquires a Netherlands-based technology company Daxx. Both companies have offices in Ukraine, the latter is one of the top 50 IT companies in Ukraine according to DOU.

The press service of Grid Dynamics told AIN.UA about the deal. The amount of the deal was not disclosed by the parties. “The deal will accelerate our joint geographical expansion and entry into new markets. It will also make it possible to offer new services to clients and a variety of technical expertise,” Grid Dynamics said.

  • Daxx is a Netherland-based tech company with 4 development centers in Ukraine: in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Lviv. About 500 professionals work in its Ukrainian offices. The company builds distributed teams of engineers for software development for corporate clients and startups. The main markets are the United States and Western Europe.
  • Grid Dynamics is headquartered in California and mainly works in the US market. Grid Dynamics provides digital transformation consulting and implementation services for enterprises; its customers include Google, Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, and PayPal.
  • It also has development centers in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Lviv.
  • According to Daxx, the deal will bring together up to 1,000 IT professionals in Ukraine, which means the number of Grid Dynamics’ Ukrainian developers can be about 500 people.
