The frontend quality startup Bird Eats Bug has raised a €1.5 million seed funding to help teams report and fix bugs faster. The round was led by Nauta Capital, a pan-European venture capital firm that supports early-stage technology companies with offices in London, Barcelona and Munich.
Bird Eats Bug was established in 2020 by CEO Dan Makarov, CTO Francisco Lourenço and CPO Jacky Chung. The startup develops a SaaS tool that helps companies to solve one of the most time-consuming problems in software development – fixing technical bugs. To date, over 500 companies from mainly the US and Europe have been reported more than 30,000 bugs seen by Bird Eats Bug.
As the startup says, its services allow employees even without technical skills to create technical bug reports, which contain technical data like console logs, network errors, browser information. It could save up to 49.9% of software engineers’ time they spend to find the cause of problems.
