Shapr3D, $6.5 million

Shapr3D has raised a $6.5 million Series A funding from top European early-stage venture capital firms Point Nine and Creandum (one of the original investors in Spotify). 

Shapr3D is a direct modeling tool with an intuitive 3D modeling user interface on a tablet device. Perfect for engineers, industrial designers, jewelry makers, 3D hobbyists, architects.

BitNinja, $2.5 million

BitNinja has raised $2.5 million in Series A round. The round was led by Lead Ventures, Oxo Technologies Holding, and previous investors Octogon Ventures and the founders of Balabit. 

BitNinja is an easy-to-use server security tool that can be installed on a server in minutes and it is virtually maintenance-free. 

BOOKR Kids, $2.4 million

BOOKR Kids has raised $2.4 million in new funding and another $2.4 million in convertible notes. The round was led by Bonitas, a private venture capital fund.

BOOKR Kids is a unique reading-based edutainment tool, designed to engage and delight the youngest learners in reading. The company offers a digital format of classical and modern stories with animation, narration, text highlighting, and special educational games.

AerinX, $2.3 million

AerinX has raised $2.3 million in pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by Takarék Venture Capital Fund I, managed by Dutch-Hungarian VC company DBH Investment. 

AerinX has developed a cutting edge solution that revolutionizes the way skin inspection is carried out for airplanes. 

Green Fox Academy, $1.5 million

Green Fox Academy has raised around $1.5 million from Impact Ventures. They have received a total of $1.6 million in funding over two rounds. 

Green Fox is aimed to make non-programmers into programmers in four months and then help their successfully graduated students to find a job.
