Feedback management provider eKomi has bought Klantenvertellen and Kiyoh brands powered by Youvia, the Dutch company that offers online marketing services for small business enterprises. The financial details of the deal are not disclosed, but it is known that a specialist private debt firm Pride Capital Partners supported eKomi during the acquisition process, Silicon Canals reports.

Founded in 2008 by Gunther Schmidt and CEO Michael Ambros, eKomi is an independent provider of verified, transaction-based reviews and ratings. Its technology enables online businesses to generate seller ratings, customer reviews, product reviews, social recommendations, and create viral effects on websites, social media, and search engines allowing for a successful revenue-generating impact for businesses.

Klantenvertellen and Kiyoh are customer review systems for businesses that offer services or/and products and for webshops accordingly. As Ambros said, the purchase reflects the eKomi’s strategy of organic growth and buy-and-build through acquisitions in Europe. In 2021, the company is planning to buy similar systems in France, Spain and Italy.
