Poznań-based startup PAPU.io has received $990k in a seed round from PKO VC and RKKVC funds, MamStartup writes.

Founded in 2018 by CEO Emil Konrad and Michał Strecker, PAPU.io is a POS system that automates processes related to the delivery of food to the customer. The startup’s solution enables restaurants to assign couriers and follow their location, analyze workday’s financial indicators of employees online and settle up with them in minutes.

The PAPU.io system also allows restaurants to run online orders from their website without any intermediaries. According to the data of MamStartup, almost 4.5 million orders have already been completed through the startup’s solution.

The fresh funding will support PAPU.io in further developing its AI-powered system to make it accept the order, adjust it to a specific delivery zone and send instructions to the drivers.
