Ukrainian manufacturer of electric bikes Delfast has raised $3.4 million during its crowdfunding campaign on Fundable from investors from all over Ukraine. This is reported to AIN.UA by representatives of the startup. The crowdfunding target was to collect $3 million, and Delfast exceeded it by $400,000.

The startup will spend the investment on the construction of the electric bikes R&D centre in Ukraine and business processes improvement. As Delfast explained, it needs to increase output to fulfill the large orders of its B2B customers, as well as to develop sales on eBay and Amazon.

Delfast was launched in 2014 by Daniil Tonkopiy and Sergey Denisenko as an eco-friendly delivery service. Since 2017, the startup has been developing the electric bike business. To date, Delfast e-bikes can travel over 500 km on a single charge without pedaling.
