Google has launched Play Pass in Ukrainian Google Play. Google Play Pass subscription in Ukraine is cheaper than in other countries. It provides access to a catalog of 800+ paid games and applications as well as ad-free applications and premium features.
As noted by ITC.UA, access to a subscription is opening gradually, so the service is not yet available to everyone.
About Play Pass
PlayPass offers subscription access to hundreds of apps – from puzzle games to premium music services. The subscription offers both paid games and applications, as well as apps without ads or in-app purchases.
Play Pass is similar to Apple Arcade, with the only difference that Apple’s subscription includes only games, whereas Google has also added applications.
Google Play Pass is compatible with phones and tablets running Android 4.4 or later and Play Market app 16.6.25 or later.
How to subscribe to Google Play Pass
Access to Play Pass subscription in Ukraine is opening gradually, so the service is not yet available to everyone. To subscribe, use a Google account. When Play Pass becomes available, it should appear as a separate item in the Google Play Store menu.
Play Pass in Ukraine costs UAH 49.99 ($1.8) per month and UAH 449.99 ($16.3) per year, and the service can be used by a family group of up to five people. Google also offers a free one-month trial period for Play Pass.
In other countries, Google Play Pass costs $5 / £5 / AU$8 per month, so if you play one ‘premium’ game per month you’re already making your money back there. The price for year subscription is $30 / £30 / AU$50.
