As reported by the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs on its Telegram channel, the rules for crossing the border and checkpoints associated with the lockdown will be changed on September 5, 2021.
- Both Ukrainian citizens and foreigners who cross the state border to enter Ukraine must self-isolate.
- The period of self-isolation is ten days and begins in 72 hours from the moment of the crossing.
- This requirement does not apply to persons who arrived from Russia, India and stayed on their territory of these countries for more than seven days within the last 14 days. The self-isolation period for them is 14 days.
- If a person has a negative result of a PCR or rapid COVID-19 test, which was made after crossing the state border, the self-isolation will not be applied. This rule does not apply to persons arriving from Russia and India.
