Audubon Bioscience, a company co-founded by Ukrainians, has raised $350,000. According to NV Business, Audubon Bioscience is developing biospecimen solutions that will make it possible to detect early-stage cancer.
- The company has raised $350,000 from 763 investors on Microventures, a Texas-based online equity crowdfunding platform.
- The company says this is its first experience with crowdfunding. The initial goal was $250,000, but the company decided to increase it because of high demand.
- According to the founders, the company’s valuation has reached $10 million.
- Among the co-founders of the company are two Ukrainians, Rostislav Semikov and Alla Semikova.
“Money that we have been able to raise through this campaign will be used for our operational expenses and hiring new personnel, which is so needed for our growth. This will also help us to strengthen our global operations and continue increasing quality standards that we are constantly working on,” said Rostyslav Semikov, Audubon’s CEO.
The company is headquartered in Houston, USA, and has offices in 12 countries. Part of the Audubon Bioscience team consists of Ukrainians.
