Walk15, a Lithuanian developer of a health and fitness application for regular walking, has raised almost €270,000 since the start of the year from Lithuanian and Latvian business angles, Invest Lithuania informs.
- The startup was founded in July 2019 by Vlada Musvydaite-Vilciauske. Its main goal is to encourage people to take care of their health.
- Apart from the step counter, the app called #walk15 provides several unique features, such as fitness challenges and rewards, like discounts for healthy food from the partner retail chain.
- Last spring Walk15 received an investment of €240,000 from 70Ventures Investment Fund. After the latest round, the company’s value has increased five times and now amounted to €5 million.
- #walk15 app has more than 260,000 users worldwide. Over 400 international companies also use the startup’s solution to take care of their employee’s health.
