Statzon, a Lahti-based market intelligence startup, has closed a €350,000 seed funding round. Leading investor was Gorilla Capital, Aikainen, Nordea Startup & Growth, as well as some angel investors also joined the round, ArcticStartup informs.
- As a computer software company, Statzon focused on robotics and automation. The company aims to help customers with strategic plans and faster decisions by providing up-to-date data, forecasts, and insights in a cost-efficient way. The company was founded in 2018 by Kimmo Kuokkanen from Finland.
- Statzon’s subscription-based platform enables access to over 200 industry and technology data and insight providers. These include over a million datasets, market reports, and company profiles on around 8,000 industries and technologies globally.
- According to Crunchbase, Statzon has raised a total of $686.7K in funding over three rounds. Its previous round was completed in late 2020 with Gorilla Capital as a leading investor.
- Gorilla Capital is an early-stage investment fund that prioritizes investing in Finnish, Swedish, Danish, and Estonian technology companies.
