Ukrainian game developers have written a Street Fighter-style browser game where Elon Musk’s character fight against Russian officials, in particular, Ramzan Kadyrov and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Also, after the game, a player can donate to the Palianytsia (Паляниця) foundation, which helps refugees and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- This browser-based game is available at the link. It has very simple controls (separate buttons for kicking, punching, and moving), and the goal is to control Musk and give kicks first to Kadyrov, then to Putin. At the end of the game, you can donate to a charitable foundation.
According to one of the authors of the game, the team had a brainstorming session on how to reach more people and raise more money a few weeks ago. And it happened at the same time when Elon Musk tweeted about Ukraine, argued with Rogozin (the director of Roskosmos) and Kadyrov, and challenged Putin to single combat.
“I came in this morning, and my colleagues told me, ‘Look what’s going on.’ And I came up with the idea that it would be fun to make a game. I wanted to make something similar to Street Fighter in style. I don’t know why. So we started looking for the technology, how to do it, how to draw, and made this version,” says one of the creators of the game.
- The game was created by a team of volunteers who responded to the request. They have not even known each other. But they accepted the tasks and did everything for fun, he says.
- The game became quite popular, with several thousand players from several countries already playing it. The authors of the game hope that its protagonist Elon Musk will also pay attention to it because this way, it will once again attract the attention of a large number of people to the war in Ukraine.
