Enso, a startup developing a toolset for data processing and analytics, has raised $16.5 million from investors, including SignalFire, Y Combinator,  Innovation Nest, and others, MamStartup reports.

  • Founded in 2015 by Polish co-founders Wojciech Danilo and Sylwia Brodacka, Enso ia based in San Francisco. The startup develops a visual programming toolkit comprising components that process data and output results.
  • Enso helps users build data workflows, dashboards, and apps by analyzing historical and live data on unprecedented levels. It is set to become more and more accessible for people without programming experience.
  • The $16.5 million funding round gathered investments from prominent worldwide investors, including SignalFire, Khosla Ventures, Day One Ventures, Decacorn Capital, Y Combinator, Samsung Next, Harvard’s Endowment, West Coast Endeavors, as well as Innovation Nest from Poland, and others.
  • Enso is planning to spend the fresh funds on the further development of its platform. Also, the startup wants to launch a SaaS product called Enso Cloud, as well as expand its team of 20 specialists.
