The Poland-based mobile game developer and publisher Pixel Perfect Dude has raised nearly €200,000 from Unfold.vc and some business angels, MamStartup informs.
- Founded in 2013 by Dariusz Pietrala, Pixel Perfect Dude is a game development studio that creates mobile games for iOS and Android. The company has two flagship titles SkiJump and #DRIVE, which are popular in the racing and sports categories.
- Unfold.vc is a Wroclaw-based venture capital fund focusing on early-stage technological projects with tickets ranging from €100,000 to €200,000. Its portfolio includes startups like Infermedica, Primetric, Exitplan, DiveInData, and Neurocare.
- According to Crunchbase, in December 2020, the fund made the first €160,000 investment into the gaming studio, seeing the growing popularity of multi-platform games.
“When we first invested in Pixel Perfect Dude, it was a one-man company with two mobile titles with several million downloads. It has a great sense of the current trends. That is why we want to accompany the company on its way and support its development,”
Rafał Sobczak from Unfold.vc comments on the funding.
- The fresh funds will help Pixel Perfect Dude improve and update the two flagship titles, as well as facilitate the development of other games.
