The Tbilisi-based digital freight forwarding startup OMOFOX has raised a $700,000 pre-seed investment. The European venture capital fund Presto Ventures led the round.
- Founded in 2020 by Kakhaber Kochiashvili, Makho Kituashvili, and Vakho Romanovi, OMOFOX is a full-service digital freight forwarding platform. It simplifies the large cargo transportation by enabling customers to automate logistics through the acquisition, planning, and monitoring of shipments in real-time.
- The lead investor, Presto Ventures, is a Prague-based venture capital fund focusing on talented CEE startup founders. In January 2022, the fund invested in the Ukrainian startup Finmap. It also backed the Lithuanian open data Okredo in 2021.
- OMOFOX has 30 team members and hopes to add new team members to 20 different jobs throughout the year. The company already has more than 300 regular business customers, and that number is steadily increasing.
- The funds funding will help with growth in Western Asia and Eastern Europe, as well as further product development.
